Expressions at Tihar
On March 13th, Ramchander Nath Foundation unveiled its long-term ongoing project at Tihar Jail, Ojas Art’s, Expressions at Tihar at India Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road. The entire proceeds of the sale generated through this exhibition will be given to individual artist inmates for their reformation and rehabilitation.
A movie being made on the program by Arjun Pandey was screened along with an exhibition of artworks made by inmates, which were selected by noted artists Jagannath Panda, Josh PS and Ram Rahman.
A major exhibition is being curated by Anubhav Nath and Johny ML, wherein artworks of Inmate artists will be displayed alongside works by leading contemporary artists, giving inmates and artists a unique platform. The exhibition will be held at Mati Ghar, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) from August 12 to September 2.
